All organisations, including those in the education sector, are susceptible to suffering from major incidents. Whether they are tragic accidents, human errors, natural disasters or criminal acts. Any of these incidents can escalate exponentially and spiral out of control. This could be acts of terrorism, kidnap or fire, or a security breach or incidence of sexual abuse. Regardless of the severity of the example, it is highly likely that your school or college will at some stage suffer from one or more of these challenges to the normal functioning of your business.
How rapidly and effectively you react in a crisis is critical. It can make the difference between recovering well, or not at all.
It is proven that those organisations who have a plan and have practiced that plan not only recover substantially faster but with significantly less damage than those organisations that are not prepared.
